Cool Hemp tastes nothing like rope. It's made from creamy white dehulled hempseed nuts. People agree hemp nut tastes nutty and refreshing. Cool Maple is loaded with pure organic maple syrup, and is very mapley. Cool Chocolate's organic fairly traded cocoa is richly intensely chocolately. And Cool Natural is well …naturally nutty, with a dash of vanilla.

Is Cool Hemp ice cream?
No. Cool Hemp contains absolutely no dairy, so people who are lactose intolerant can experience the pleasure of a rich frozen dessert with no ill health effects. In fact Cool Hemp is good for you. Its perfectly balanced EFAs actually lower cholesterol. And it's certified Kosher DE. This means that people observing a Kosher diet can eat Cool Hemp after any meal.

What does certified organic mean?
Internationally, there are a careful and precise set of growing and processing standards for organic certification. In Canada, organic standards, while consisting of strict guidelines, are currently voluntary. There is much reliable literature to demonstrate that certified organically grown and/or produced foods are higher in nutrition. Plus, organic growing and producing eliminates GMOs and the toxic effects of herbicides, insecticides, and additives.

Will I get high?
No. Cool Hemp is made from hempseed nuts that are tested to contain less than 0.000% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the active psychogenic property in marijuana. The hempseeds used in hemp foods come from a plant that is a cousin to the marijuana plant but contains virtually no THC.

Are Cool Hemp products Nut & Peanut free?
Cool Hemp frozen desserts may contain traces of nuts or peanuts. Though we clean the machines thoroughly before using them, we make Cool Hemp in a facility that uses nuts & peanuts.

Are Cool Hemp products gluten-free?

Cool Hemp Protein Powder is gluten free.

Cool Hemp frozen dessert batch #1963 may contain gluten. Although none of the ingredients contain gluten, in batch #1963 there was a tiny percentage of grain in with the hemp seeds. This happened because they were grown in a field that had a grain crop the previous year.

The Cookies are not gluten-free, as they are made with spelt and rye flours.
