We are focused on creating new nutritious foods from the hemp seed to meet the needs and interests of the rising wave of people who are interested in investing in their long term personal health and the health of the environment their children will inherit.

Cool Hemp has created Certified Organic and Fair Trade non-dairy frozen desserts based on the incredibly nutritious hemp seed. Distributed from Coast to Coast in Canada, with repeat sales holding steady in both mainstream and natural food stores, we were voted two 2002 "Alive Silver Award(s) of Excellence" in the Certified Organic Whole Foods Category by natural food stores across Canada.

Cool Hemp was the first frozen dessert that presented an excellent source of Omega 3 (and 6, in the ideal ratio) and is thus "Heart Healthy", the first frozen dessert to be certified Fair Trade, the first frozen dessert to be sweetened only with real maple syrup, and is very high in protein while being free of GMO, dairy, and soy.

The company has done all the design work for fun, eye- catching packaging and promotional materials, and has been selling steadily in both mainstream grocery natural sections for three years and natural food stores for five years

The ideal candidate will be someone who:

Has a basic understanding of Organic Farming, Hemp, and Fair Trade practices and principles.
Has a basic understanding of (and preferably experience in) the Natural Food industry, preferably in the Organic sector.
Has experience successfully running a business(es).
Has marketing expertise to match the unique challenges of hemp education.
Has between $500,000 to $1 M (or more) to invest in this project (or the ability to raise it).
Has the ability to take the company to the next level.
Is willing and enthusiastic about doing business in a new way, such as Treating suppliers, employees, business associates, fellow shareholders, and customers with appreciation, cordiality, fairness and respect; Running the business in the most environmentally friendly way possible; & Actively co-operating with other natural food and eco-friendly businesses, while Supporting local rural communities and family farms.
Wants to do something significant, fun and exciting in the world.
